Barrington Ayre Shirtmaker and Tailor was set up by Tom Wharton in 2010. "I've always loved clothes, and being able to dress how I want to in the designs and fit I want. I have also always believed the whole experience is key, and that is why I set up Barrington Ayre Shirtmaker & Tailor. I always found Savile Row intimidating. The tailoring shops on the Row aren't always the most welcoming and I wanted to be able to provide the finest tailoring in an environment where my customers could feel relaxed and really enjoy the experience. In my mind, the experience is part of the joy of having your clothing.  So, I set up, in my home town Cirencester, in a first floor Showroom that is relaxing and inviting. We have a beautiful handmade blue Chesterfield sofa to relax on whilst you peruse the fabrics and designs. We have tea and coffee as well as wine and beer and even a gin and whisky bar for those who fancy a tipple! We would be delighted to make your clothing and even if you simply wish to pop into the Showroom to have a look at what we do and some of the clothing we have recently made we would be delighted to have you!
