Set within a beautifully restored listed warehouse on the waterside at Gloucester Quays, Coal Kitchen is an independent restaurant built around fire, flavour and exceptional local produce. We work closely with Gloucestershire farmers and suppliers with our meat from just 8 miles down the road and our vegetables are sourced from local farms. Known for one of the best Sunday Roasts in Gloucester alongside standout fish and chips in the Quays, our menus celebrate quality, seasonality and honest cooking. Add to that a vibrant summer terrace for alfresco dining, cocktails & margaritas and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Coal Kitchen is the perfect spot to eat, drink and unwind by the water—whatever the occasion. Please note we are closed Mondays, but open on Bank Holiday Mondays!
